MUNICH — the capital of Germany's oldest state, Bavaria. A city known for its extravagant history, cultural landmarks, and high quality of living. I recently visited to soak up its charms, but to my genuine surprise, I’ve experienced so much more.

For a city with a reputation to be Germany’s more serious, conservative counterpart, I’ve certainly encountered Munich’s incredibly vibrant, relaxed and fun-loving side. To be fair, I came here at the best time of the year, when the whole city embraces its great Bavarian tradition, the Oktoberfest, the world's biggest folk festival and best beer party, helping cement its place as one of Europe’s most festive and liveliest cities.

I didn't expect to enjoy Munich this much, and this video isn't even half of what I experienced in the city and Bavaria. But I hope this episode captures the essence, joy, wonder and the delights of the Bavarian capital and culture, showing that one can learn so much from the city's history and art, as well as know how to have fun in this city that balances so many fine things in life.
