Thanks! Four years later this is the review I was looking for with the comparison between the PCS 10.2 also!

Great review. Nice that you included the 1 month follow up unlike a lot of reviews that just unbox, fiddle with the thing for a bit then call it a review.

Great review! You showed the features, discussed the pros/cons and left your impressions. This is just the review I needed to make my decision! Thank you! Great work!

The Park PCS 9.2 has butterfly (twist) knobs to raise the height of the stand. The old PCS 9 only had the Allen key style. 9.2 and 10.2 are very similar

Thank you! Trying to decide between the 10.2 & 25. No doubt I’d prefer the 25 for weight/portability, and storage. $125 is a big price jump though!
ETA: Bought the 25. Love it!!!

Appreciate the review, good clarification on the two Park stands. Im looking to pick up another Park stand and believe the 10.2 is the winner for my use.

Great review!
Can I ask, what does the "pro level" clamp on the PRC-25 have that the clamp on the PCS-10.2 does not have?

This is one of the best looking stands even among Park Tool stands. Black looks pro and expert.

Good review and I think I'm going to spring for this stand. I generally prefer to purchase higher quality tools, and I've used crappy stands in the past. They suck. Nice bike too.

I have had this stand for 5 years and love it. I bolted a short galvanized pipe to my wall which the jaws clamp to so I can store it on the wall.

My only gripe is that PT used regular steel and NOT stainless for the few exposed metal bits. I use the stand to wash my bikes and now the bolts and metal support brackets for the legs are rusting and staining the painted parts. Why in the world didn’t they use stainless!? Pretty cheapie move.

Oh, and the wheel truing accessory is made for this, but you have to pay a LOT more for it to be thru axel compatible! Another ridiculous decision.

Is it best to clamp 9n a seat post over the seat post collar / seal (as you did in the video) rather than higher up onto the main seat post shaft?

Like the 3 inch higher height on this over the now 10.3.

I like the extra weight of a steel stand

Hi thanks for making this video, there aren't that many out there. I bought a prs 25 and was wondering if yours makes any squeaky sounds when you apply mild pressure like when you were pushing the stand mounted with a bike on the video. I bough it and it makes a loud squeaking/creeking sound with mild pressure or pushing.. which is pretty disappointing given the price. Thanks !

I have issue that if i pull out upper part then height adjustment collar will slide off… when I tighten screw more then I am not able to slide upper part of stand… Do you have that issue? It is annoying because some time I grab it lower part slides out and fall on ground … or when I have bike attached then I cannot adjust height because collar will slide of lower part

Thanks man.. I'm buying one also...makes perfect sense.

Oh man, this is gonna be a long shot, but im hoping you can help me troubleshoot. I just picked up this stand and screwed the clamp on but when I put my daughters kiddie bike, for some reason it’s not holding its rotation. Any ideas? Also, after screwing the clamp on, Im able to easily pull the clamp out leaving the threaded bullet behind and the tapered donut falling out, is that normal?
