My reaction to the shots of that Speedmax clamped on the top tube: 😱😱😱😱

Do as Jon Cannings from GCN says: Always clamp your bike on the seatpost, as it isn't as prone to being crushed as the top tube.

At the moment iam building my first triathlon bike completely from scratch. First to get the costs low (using a lot of used parts) and second to learn about bikes so that i can make all changes and repairs in the future by myself. And man this kit would come in handy, holy moly!

@GTN
Important Note.
The DSD-2 IS NOT a Phillips screwdriver as said at 2:40 but rather a JIS one. Looks very similar but using a Phillips screwdriver in your derailleur JIS screws (mainly found in Japanese parts) will damage the screws. This is why you should ALWAYS use a JIS screwdriver, like Park Tool's DSD-2, to adjust your derailleurs limits screws and B screw.

Have to say, I winced when I saw Mark's bike clamped by the top tube.

love the mlp1.2 master link pliers. No, you don't absolutely need one but once you have it...it's a great tool!

Imo, chains which are designed to be shifted, should all be replaced at 0.5% wear. Whether its a 6 or a 13 speed doesn't matter at all, since wear on the cogs and chainrings functiones the same. 0.5 stretch is the same wear among every chain and does unnecessarily wear cogs and chainrings quite fast. Considering people do use for some reason use 200€ cassettes, replacing chains often actually saves money

Do they sell the box without the tools? I have most of the tools already, but I could use a handy box in which to keep them.
