Hi Tiffany... just found your channel 🙂 The "reason why" is such an important part for motivation. Nice video. Thanks for sharing. 👍👍

Time in the market > timing the market. I think that is the number 1 thing that we need to know as beginners.
I am on my way to retirement but it might take a while hahaha.
Great channel 💪

Love this! Not doing your research. Following a short term "trend"

Good advice about buying and holding for the long term with the end goal in mind. Index funds can cut the risk of one of your investments going belly-up.

Ive seen "investors" make these mistakes countless number of times. I even mentioned some of these in my video as well. Good job

New subscriber here. Great channel. My biggest mistake was selling great companies on a dip. (Was afraid the stock would keep falling). Now I hold for the long term.

I always feel like more complicated investing would pay more, but hearing you talk about it, I know it's not true. Thanks Tiffany!

Do you have video's that get into more of your specific stock choices? I am fairly new to your channel and struggle in finding much on stocks. You give great advice and are a great listen, but I am looking for more. Thanks.

Nice video with very practical advice. I think any investment products with insurance companies means the insurance company will benefit off your money but you won’t. Also it’s important to note that when the stock market crashes most stocks will also crash but you still have to stay the course as you said Tiffany. I have been through the Dot com crash in 2000-2 and the 2008 crash so I am used to expecting the occasional crash.

For me rental property costs seem more confusing than a simple whole-market ETF. Things I don't know about rentals: special taxation rules (depreciation), mortgage lender fees, advertising fees, maintenance costs, insurance, etc.

Do you always buy single family properties? What about multiple?
Do you do it thru an LLC?

What split do you have in real estate versus stocks? And now that you have experience in both types of investments, would you tell your younger self to do one or the other?

When you invest in an index fund using the 4% rule, do you just take out 4% one time a year as a lump sum like in January so you have money for the year? Or is it done monthly?

What do you think about the fidelity zero total market index as a beginners intro into investing?

I'm investing for FIRE passive income, ideally via monthly dividends. I am open to real estate, though.
