The makers used the decorative art of a certain countryside region at each episode. The trio of folk art, folk music and folk tales are masterfully combined in the episodes, which have unique imagery, sometimes spicy folk humor in the dialogues. Thanks to the natural presentation of the storytellers, and the music of the Kaláka band, the viewer can experience something unique and special.

I love the "traditional" animations, they're lovely and very aesthetic. The stories' plots are fab. Wondering why this youtube channel gets fewer likes than it deserves.

Don’t you just love folktale logic?That shepherd has selective hearing—he can hear a snake’s cry for help but his father didn’t give the power to speak to animals until he hissed in the shepherd boy’s ear?Snakes must speak Hungarian to begin with.

Hungary has A lot of folktales in America I don't think we have but 3 pecos bill, pual bunyan, and the last one my favorite but his name escapes me he hammered through a mountain.
