Boho Cottage Tour - 400 square foot cottage

Hello, beautiful friends! People have been asking for a cottage tour, so I decided to make one. I've been watching tiny house shows here on Youtube for so long now ... and I never realized how hard it is to film! It's tough to show off a tiny house space; but I did my best : )

I'm beyond grateful for this little cottage. It's incredibly tough finding affordable and nice housing in the Hudson Valley area of upstate NY. Even more so since COVID hit and people decided to move out of New York City and come to the Hudson Valley. Finding this little cottage was a HUGE blessing and I don't ever take it for granted.

I was looking for a cottage that I could afford for many, many years here in the Hudson Valley before I landed here. This cottage even came with lovely landlords and many upgrades that the tenants right before me made. They lived here just three months before life moved them in a different direction, but they did SO much work before leaving. They even found the fridge for free on Craigslist!

What a difference you made when you moved in, it's so much more inviting and homely. I used the word homely in the english sense of the word which means comfortable and welcoming and cosy, I think in America it has a different meaning...? Anyhoo, I just love it, you have great style. On your fireplace pipe, find a large plant basket and cut a hole in it, hang it upside down and staple to the ceiling, then add your twinkle lights
