Living in 400 square feet does have it's challenges! But It forces me to be selective, and edit constantly, keeping only what I use, love, brings me joy or serves as storage. My "decorating" is pretty much use what I have...surrounded by my favorite things...color, texture, art, plants, flowers, gardens, birds, a beautiful beach, travel, angels....

Everything must have a home. Tiny spaces are fast and easy to clean...BUT gets messy super fast with just a few out of place items.
I do rent a small storage unit...Very helpful!
Creative Storage...my bed is elevated...perfect for under the bed bins.
Decorative storage baskets, Ikea Storage Unit for shoes, and lots of shelves!
Mirrors bring light and make any space look larger. ☀️🌝🌞
Color, Texture, Art, Plants, Fresh Flowers, Nature, Candles, Scent...bring life to any space.
Surround yourself with things you love, that have meaning and bring you joy.

(My 1st apartment was similar; a tiny 1920s cottage about half the size of this house. It only had one small clothes closet, too. Everything else was stored out in the open, so I bought items, usually thrifted, that were functional but pretty. Forty+ years later, still have two $1 Woolworth fruit embossed coffee mugs & a small set of Italian hand painted Fortunoff dishes that I used daily back then. They were a splurge at $2-$3 a piece, on clearance. They're chipped & crazed now, but kept to remind me where I came from.)
