Design Culture is Everything

Anyone who has travelled abroad, socialized with people of different backgrounds, or worked in different organizations knows how powerful culture is and how it shapes our thinking. Culture also shapes how design is valued. Some cultures distinguish themselves with the quality of their designs. This awareness leads to noticing which cultures design better outcomes than others. Design culture can be shaped deliberately, however, in most circumstances it comes into being in the absence of mindful guidance.
