I started racing over 30 years ago with a Tamiya Wild One. Then I got the original RC10. We formed a club and had dirt we alternated between an offroad and an oval every couple of years. We also built a banked concrete oval and put down an asphalt pad for road racing. I also had a RC10T, a 10L, 12L, Yokomo 4wd Touring, Delta 12th scale, and a Bolink Legend. I lived for racing haha Even placed 2nd place in a ROAR Regional in 10th scale stock onroad. Our track folded about 15 years ago and I started flying planes. We don't even have a hobby shop any more. I just bought 3 Traxxas Slash Pro's with onboard audio and started building a small offroad track to hack around on with my girlfriend and a buddy.

Could you please do a video on tires? What types you want to run, softer vs harder, inflatable vs solid vs foam? And the benefits/cons to them all?

Can you do a video on how to properly select brushless motor size, along with esc size and battery size?

Really appreciate the helpful information! I bought Traxxas' buggy as my first RC and am having a blast, and getting to know more about the tires is super helpful! Runs great in my apartment parking lot, and surprisingly well in somewhat thick grass

You've been a big help and a great influence and without even knowing you've helped me expand my collection. Started with a Arrma Crush. Then got a Granite, then a Kraton 4s, a Kraton 6s and I now have a Mojave! And it's badass. I also have three RC boats so I'm looking forward to spring to test my custom 6s boat. It used to be a Feilun FT010 then I gutted it. BTW you look super familiar. I'm in MD... Thanks and keep making superb content.

After hours rollerskating rinks and gymnasiums worked great for racing low profile vehicles like my old LaTrax (1981) LTX-40 Corvette. I've wondered how my car would hold up on astro turf as there are a few football fields around that I'd love to check out. Any thoughts? Thanks. Very informative video.

I like your approach. Is there any rc specific places? And how do you find them. I'm in arizona very few tracks and mesa frowns on rc in the parks even when you are away from others.

Do you recommend adding cooling fans (ESC/MOTOR) for crawlers? In particular a Traxxas Defender with much added weight in accessories. BEC?
