OK, Pongo and Perdie were badass parents in this scene, but what about Tibbs!?

He was a cat willing to defend a bunch of puppies to the end! He's by far the biggest badass in this film.

Even cornered, Sgt. Tibbs put himself between the bandits and the puppies till the end. What a soldier. What a cat.

If there was one way to convince the other 84 puppies that Pongo and Perdita will love and protect them regardless of not being their actual children, it's this scene. They didn't know about the other puppies, but it wouldn't have matter: they knew from the beginning Horace and Jasper and Cruella were bad humans.

I noticed each parent had their own approach to taking down the Brothers.
Pongo moves in for more direct and agressive attacks.
Perdy however uses what what her environment provides her with I.e. Horace's jacket, the carpet under his feet and the fire burning in the fireplace.

I love that Perdita is a quiet, calm, nurturing, maternal figure but is an absolute animal here for her babies

0:22 to 0:29 No doubt about it, those realistic, nightmare induced, angry looks are truly frightening. I can just imagine how some people in the theaters probably reacted in horror, especially an angry Pongo jumping right at the audience for that brief second. Protecting the nighty-nine puppies they were, but making their angry looks realistic takes the cake!

Sergeant Tibbs was the MVP of this film! I always found the scene where he pushes all the puppies behind him at 0:18 to try and block them from Horace and Jasper to be so sweet and sad. He was ready to die for these puppies the wonderful cat.

I loved the way all of the adult dogs communicated so well with each other to save the puppies. If only people were like that!
