We’ve noticed we haven’t shown much of our Chilean van yet and some of it’s unique features that we are pretty proud of.

Fist off is the slide out semi-permanent bed . Being a mid sized camper it would be super impractical to have a fixed permanent bed as it would take up way too much real estate but we learnt from our New Zealand van that we also didn’t wan’t to spend any more than 10 seconds a day making the the bed, especially fitting the fitted sheet (worst job of the day 😖). So we engineered a way to slide out the bed on glides which gives us a comfy day bed as well as a full length queen bed.

Hands up if you want to see a full van tour wth all the smart little features we have added to this van 🙌

I have a similar thing in mine, slightly different execution.

I cut my matrass in half and fold it double, then fold up the front part of the bed, so it becomes the backside of my kitchen. Love the fact that it takes me 10 seconds to make or remove my bed.

Had on of those bench+table+bench beds before and hated having to make my bed all the time.

My bed is similar. It is convenient to have a bed that folds away. The pin and the reason people have a fixed bed, , is because they don't like putting sheets on every night. You solved that and so did i. Very cool
