Dom, Jesiz + Thorin comment more on the Rekkles situation.
Jesiz confirms Rekkles scrimmed for the entire Summer split from his room as he didn't want to be apart of the team because it would 'hurt his performance.'

As a french native I just wanted to reformulate the end of striker message to be sure there is no misunderstanding.
"There was no solution for BOTH the competitive year and the offseason", which mean they could respond to only one of these issues, either the competitive year OR the offseason. Not that they couldn't resolve any of the issues.

And yet one member from the coaching staff is happily dm with him and playing normals after Rekkles left KC. So I wonder if this is a normal case of not everyone is able to work with everyone.

Didn't this coach also give Upset and his wife shit and never apologize for it from the World's situation 2 years ago?

Obviously I don't have any insider information, but I feel like all of those three examples could be explained by what is generally considered very acceptable behaviour. For example on the cab. Someone asks Rekkles if he wants to join for a team dinner, he says he's getting off a long flight so gives an unenthusiastic 'okay' to keep up social graces. When he lands he waits for the cab to arrive, after 10-15 mins he says 'you know what never mind, i'm too tired for this I'm just going to take it easy for the night' and heads to the hotel/home. If a friend or colleague did this to me it would be 100% understandable and unremarkable. This really feels like they're making a mountain out of a molehill.

From Rekkles's previous streams and other accounts (Bwipo, Nemsis, Caps). I've always understood Rekkles to be somewhat of an extroverted-introvert:

- He's not one that needs a full day to get ready for a call/stream like an introvert
- He doesn't have the need to be around people to feel alive like an extrovert.

He seems more like a person that's like "I've come for work, I've trained and that was social interaction enough for the day; I need to refill my social battery". So the fact that he dipped from team dinners doesn't surprise me.

Scrimming in a different room seems a bit weird and I can see why the team would feel insulted as they said in the interview, it gave the impression he was better than all of them. Bwipo did mention that when they were playing together, Rekkles wasn't very vocal about things that bothered him. So, I'm gonna go on limb and say: He probably didn't communicate very well how he felt at KC and rather than confronting people he did what most introverts do and secluded himself. Especially if the team is full of extroverts, they may view that as disrespectful towards them.

From the Org's PoV, I feel like KC knew/should have known what they were getting into: Let's be real, they didn't get Rekkles's contract to win/ build a dynasty. They guy openly said on his stream after he got booted from G2 that he wouldn't spend longer than a year away from the LEC. And as much as I love the LFL, the teams aren't anywhere good enough to make it to the LEC. So they got Rekkles for the marketing. I'm sure the average pro league enjoyer cannot name a single LFL team or player without googling, except for Karmine Corp. As far as marketing goes, it's an absolute master stroke.

Furthermore, it should have been a red flag when G2 gave him the boot. G2 was looking to build a championship roster and if they didn't want Rekkles, there was something up. So if they were looking for their ADC of the future and intended to keep him there. They should have expected a bit of personality clash.

On the other hand, Rekkles seems to be a walking contradiction:
- Values his privacy as shown when he slept separately from the G2 team and KCorp; (Took a hotel room or slept back in Sweden). But he relishes the spotlight
- Has an amazing work ethic and competitive spirit by all accounts but is also inflexible in regards to the way he works.
- Isn't vocal about his situation but has been the linchpin for a few of his teams.

Overall, 0/10 situation: A player that wants to win at all cost but will self-sabotage his chances of doing so by not being flexible enough to adhere to his teams. A team that hired said player as a walking billboard for their games but never communicated to their staff that that was the case. Coaching staff and players expecting to build a dynasty on the back of their walking billboard without understanding that was never going to be the case. Just poor handling by everyone.

rekkles is jsut an introvert. not all people are the same and they kinda give him shit for his personality when he is prolly jsut like he is. only other introverts really can understand that.

Don't change how you do the outro. People may say things or they may not, but all this stuff should be taken with a light heart and a smile. What's the point of a video game if you're not at least somewhat having fun. I appreciate the humor. Don't change yourself into a monotone robot league reporter. For those who prefer the soulless presentation they can just read patch notes and twitter themselves.

I mean apparently the one dinner isnt bad tbh. Also if you want me at a team dinner I'd hope you'd setup my ride to get there. FNC knows Rekkles so I don't think they are complaining

bruh not joining dinner for whatever reason shouldint be considered behavior problem lmao the couch is too soft

It's 100% these "management" people having a power trip, "how dare this player refuse whatever we tell him to do. We have to get him fired", people who have little control over their own life, will abuse any power they are given, however little.

I do not think esports orgs/coaches want to know what happens in real life sports lmao

Honestly, Jankos claimed that Rekkles and the rest of g2 didn't fit and I for me it seems reasonable that they were just different types of people. If Rekkles would have shown inappropriate behavior, I am sure Leakos would have struck once more. Although this doesnt tell very much about his time at KC, I still cant believe Rekkles would have some kind of a bad work ethic.

Personally i haven't heard things about Rekkles being problematic during his years on FNC so i don't think it's as much of a problematic behavior as much as it is a diffrence of how they want to be treated and treat others so in my mind at least it seems like they simply had a diffrence on opinions.

Rival please don't give up your famous "byeee", don't worry about the haters, most of us love it.

Yeah someone who pulls the "I put food on the table so you can't talk back to me" deserves no respect. Poor choice of words if Rekkles was indeed wrongly disrespectful, because I hope most people will side with him now. Very abusive kind of discourse.

Now here's some result-based observation but it's interesting how FNC was able to work (had best results) with rekkles but every other org (not counting before he first joined FNC) has struggled to do so. We have no way of looking into the inner workings bts but I really wonder what the outlier was. Alliance kinda choked but they were first in LEC going into worlds iirc so maybe how orgs are ran in the olden days fits him more.
