Some notes before I watch, not sure if you've covered this: Ginger is a tropical plant which is not hardy to any kind of cold, and I don't think it's drought hardy either. In temperate climates it must be planted in a container and transported indoors whenever it gets much below 15°C, and even that's too cold for its ideal growth.

Turmeric is a ginger and its cultivation is similar to ginger.

Hi everybody. I had a pear an avocado tree that is dying. It never bore much fruit about six pears max on its best year. Now it limbs have turned black and they can easily be snapped off. What has happened to it and can it still be saved? It has a section that still has leaves on it. I live in The Bahamas.
