I’m 65 years old and y’all make me tear up and proud to know that we still have some young folks interested in the great music of my youth. Y’all are awesome.

I am a 70 year old who was a musician back when this music was fresh and alive. I don't know if you guys realize it but you are far more than just some guys and gals playing the great old music. This was the best era for great songwriting and performing in the rock and roll era. You are keeping this tradition alive for people of your generation and introducing these cherished songs and bands to an entirely new audience of kids who don't know their parents or really their grandparents generation of music. It is actually an awesome responsibility! This was the age before internet and mindless video games when great songwriting and performing were prized commodities. A far better era than today. Yeah there was the Vietnam War and some challenging times but the music united the entire generation like no other force that exists today. What young people for the most part experience musically today is equivalent to fast food - there is just no nourishment in terms of craft and musicianship in it. Anyway keep up the great work of reaching another generation of fans for this wonderful music.

I don’t think people can even fathom how perfect this was. How 100% fucking pERfect, it was. This needs a billion views. This is live, genuine, one perf take, rehearsed, perfected, thought through, classic, unbelievable music. I’m totally stunned dude.

I have watched this many times and I think my favorite part is the absolute grin on the face of the bass player whenever the camera pans across him. They are definitely having fun.

Your bass player is smiling and bobbing to the groove because he KNOWS how great this is, excellent job!

I consider myself a fairly gifted vocalist and stringed instrument operator, but, as a person in touch with reality, I would be lucky and thankful to even sit in the same room as these people. Insanely gifted, and I'm thankful and grateful to be alive in their time.

The year was 71, Doobie Bros lived a few houses down the street from me in San Jose Ca., played in the basement, right before this song came out, memory lane, you bring it all back❤

Man, the mix on this one is *chef’s kiss* Making that microphone case shaker and guitar case kick drum sound like some studio shit. Such a pleasure as always y’all!

This group, Josh, Carson, Reina and Toni, nails every song they do together. How about an album together?!

In 1973 we were all getting changed into our basketball uniforms after driving through a snow storm to get to this tournament. Buddy starts singing this song. We all joined in. what joy I felt.

The Doobie Brothers would be blown away by this - I hope they have seen it

The joy they have in their music flows through their playing. I’ve been playing guitar for 45 years and I wish I had half of their talent. I did have some medical issues that I overcame, was temporarily paralyzed from the neck down which affected me for a long time, but recent spinal surgery has brought back the dexterity and hand coordination.

This would've been my son's birthday but COVID-19 took him. He was my best friend & he loved same music that I do. Doobies music never sounded better. Thank you so much. He would've thoroughly enjoyed this.

I'm facing the big six oh. I remember my 3rd grade teacher, [1973] Mrs. Groom, had a "bring records to school day". My friend, Bobby Scott, had Black Water in his collection. We were doobien' our funk that day. I never knew the Doobie Brothers were so syncopated. Jus' wanna let y'all know music can actually take you back. Also, after 60 yrs of lovin' all music, the notes and grooves are inside us, verse for verse, line by line. From one music purist to another. love ya'all.
