FULL DISCLOSURE:

The review part of this video is not sponsored nor did I receive any money to review the item. While I sometimes get bags for free, I have to pay custom fees, shipping fees and all my videos have lots of production costs (e.g. software and music rights). Therefore I invest my own money into all of these videos and I have no intention to be biased towards a product or company. Every review and quicklook is written by me and no company can pay for preferential scheduling or what is said in the video. Furthermore, the company sees the video the same time as all viewers here on youtube. All opinions in this video are my own unless stated otherwise.

ETHICS STATEMENT

HOW I REVIEW:

As you might know from my „How I make a buying decision“ video: Rather than just looking at the pros, I like to evaluate the cons or flaws of an item and then evaluate if I can live with them. That is why in my video reviews I concentrate more on the cons of an item rather than going over all the features. Therefore everything shown is just a fraction of all the points that go into the verdict and score of an item.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A QUICKLOOK AND A REVIEW:

A Quicklook usually covers pre-production units or items that I only used for a short period of time. While Reviews cover final items that I have reviewed intensively.

AFFILIATE LINKS:

No matter if I like or dislike a product, I want to make it easy for you to check out the product yourself. Therefore I include a link of the productpage. If marked with a star *, that link is an affiliate link, meaning if you buy the product via the link you DO NOT pay more, but you will support the channel.

Check out this video for why I now include affiliate links:

Love the travel tip for the travel wallet. I'm definitely using that the next time I travel.

I've thought about doing the thing where you hide your passport or other wallet with credit cards under the sink or bed... but knowing myself, I'll probably forget I did that, leave the hotel, get to the airport and then realize my mistake. i just always take my passport with me because you usually have to, depending on the country.

5:56 I believe the curtain hiding place is well published by now.

Agree with most of the items mentioned Bo, great video as always! For me, an essential for me that hasn't been mentioned is a secondary phone. It acts as a backup for my phone in case something goes wrong with my main phone while I'm traveling (happened to me multiple times).

Also another essential is a good pair of earphone, for watching movie in the plane and to keep myself entertained. I used to rely on bluetooth wireless earphones, but nowadays I'm going back to wired earphones simply because it's one less item to charge every night.

Also a multi port charger, preferably that is small but powerful enough to charge a laptop and a couple of other device is another must for me, I use the Ugreen 100 Watt GaN charger with 4 ports to charge my laptop, my phone and my secondary phone, and my camera with just a single charger. I want to "downgrade" to something even smaller and lighter but can still charge a laptop and a few other device, but for now the 100 Watt charger still does a wonderful job for travel.

Also finding Mukama as the only place for the things I am looking for in Europe. Any other sites you know about for the higher-quality bags and such would be great to know. Also - thanks for the great video reviews. Much appreciated when someone else can do this and potentially save me some money.

That outro was kind of great. I like the tip about using curtains, hadn't considered that before.

I like the CAS2 but even I feel it is too small for travel use especially if you want to bring a water bottle and camera and packable jacket/totes etc. I also hate heavy slings like more than 1kg or so feels like a lopsided weight on my shoulder so I might as well go with a small backpack, feels more secure too. More bag companies should make 15L and lightweight bags, there is no need for 20L bags to be 2lbs or 1kg heavy. Just a random rant lol.

Nice backpack, I have the blue one 30 ltr. Nice to know about the shop in EU to get some of the gear that is in the US/Canadian markets. Stay safe, and hope the weather down there is nice as we had in DK today.

That slate gray has an amazing orange inside, but on their website it looks light gray, but in your video it looks black. Is it on the darker side? That's what I would prefer
