Watching the first 2/3 of this trailer, I was thinking 'Wind in the Willows meets Watership Down?' But then Attenborough's voice kicks in, and this trailer becomes something else altogether that is very reflective on our times. Not just the UK, but globally.

I was so excited seeing the first part, thinking, "Yay!! Wes Anderson made one of my favorite books into stop animation"....and then I got a knot in my stomach seeing the rest...

This is so inspiring. Shocking that we have become one of the most nature depleted places on the planet especially as we as a nation are animal lovers. We as humans finally release this planet isn’t just our planet. We need to quit the growth of the major cities and leave some room for our natural landscape. Me and my Mum have just signed up for volunteering at The Wildlife Trust!

This is exactly why politicians should give more of a shit about what’s happening to our environment and especially our wildlife than about fighting amongst themselves and getting themselves ridiculously bogged-down in this omnishambles that is Brexit!

When I saw the title and the thumbnail I got really excited because I absolutely love the wind in the willows and to see it remade with modern styled stop motion really made me get nostalgic because of the 1983 Cosgrove hall one but when it turned out to be just an advert for wildlife support, I was disappointed. Not that there is anything wrong with support of wildlife, I'm all for that, it's just I thought it was one thing then it turned out to be another.

Not gonna lie, I thought this was an actual movie trailer, but it turned out to be a "Save Nature" PSA. But a very well made PSA. I would still love see this get adapted into a stop motion movie in the near future. :)

I was really hoping this was going to be a movie. I appreciate it being an advert for Wildlife trusts. Its a good idea. But man, I so wish this was a movie and I love the original book.

Of all the characters I've never seen a wild weasle, mole, water vole in the UK...the only badgers are the dead ones on the side of the roads. At least I've seen a toad....
