I called the Lakeland police once because I came home and my house was broken into. The police came to the conclusion that I broke into my own home...wtf? Geniuses? Smh. I moved!

If I were an officer and my department, county, or city wouldn't furnish body cams, I would probably invest in my own just to protect myself. It would also further ensure the safety of the public.
These officers are being stupid. Abuse should never be tolerated!

It seems that I smelled marijuana is a common statement the police officers say to justify just about anything they do in an arrest !!!
That is the get out of trouble phrase for every police officer !!!

Don't count on anything changing. They will investigate themselves and find they did nothing wrong. They smell marijuana so much because they're trained to say that. Creates probable cause. Best thing to do is file a civil lawsuit every time your rights are violated. The cops won't care but the taxpayers will eventually get tired of footing the bills for poor policing.
The video speaks for itself and you can believe your eyes.

We need a better criminal justice system. Our current one allows people to attack/murder/rob without much consequences, this officer, like many other criminals will get off easy even when they are caught, this is not an isolated incident, think about all the violent robberies and all the rapes, the criminals get like probation and warnings, like wtf? There was a person that lost an eye from a guys punch, and he will probably get probation
