Thats not FM, thats using your WIFI internet connection/cell network connection... it is not recommended to use on cell, since it would eat up all the allocated data, and charge extra if the data packages packages from your cell network are not capped.

Not cool. If I want to use an app, I will, but it is not the case. What I need is an FM radio which enables me radio receiving without internet use. Why? 
To go to sleep with the radio on without frying my brain with WIFI or 3G waves.
To listen to the radio whilst at a sport venture, LIVE to the exact second (not with the 10+ sec. delay of internet radio).
To listen to the radio for 3 hours straight without draining completely my battery.
To listen to the radio for 3 hours on a train without loosing the signal due to going through low signal areas.

These are just some of the Whys I can come up with.

If WIFI & Sprint signal is down, is it possible to listen to FM radio through radio waves? Not online?

I too want a true FM radio that picks up local signals. What this guy calls FM Radio is actually an app to connect to the internet and receive broadcasts streamed over the internet. This is VERY different from a true FM radio that does not rely on the internet for anything.

FWIW, sticker does not seem to allow the phone to recieve an FM broadcast, rather to receive the internet stream of broadcasters in the area you indicate by zip code. Anyone know of an app that allows the iPhone to receive an FM signal directly? i.e., from my own FM transmitter? I want to be a able to broadcast a signal that is in sync with audio audio coming from my computer....
