As the Russian invasion continued in Ukraine with several reported killed and thousands displaced, Kyiv took down a monument which stood as a symbol of Ukraine-Russia friendship. The monument in Kyiv was dismantled as Ukrainians watched and cheered.

This mayor is Vitali Klitschko, one of the perpetrators of the 2014 american financed coup that reshaped ukrainian history and alienated the ethnic russians population and other ethnic minorities, starting from the abolition of the russian language as part of the national language of ukraine. Donbas region and crimean penensula, which are largely populated by ethnic russians, refused to accept the new government because it was established though force using the ultranationalist neo nazis, like this mayor, as a battering ram instigated by the american government because the previous government was too friendly with russia. They were right on that regard. Thus, started this disaster.
