I made a ‘Fifth Element’ ZORG ZF1

Using one of my metal/3D printed hybrid kits, I built a ZF1 from the 90’s cult classic film ‘The Fifth Element’. The replica prop contains lights, motors, electronic PCBs and no complicated tools or soldering is necessary to build one.

Love this. You did a phenomenal job. One thing I've always struggled to do or understand is like...where do you design all of this ahead of time? Like, what's the process up to printing and putting together the servos/rails/electronics? I would LOVE to start designing stuff to start creating my own re-creations, but I just struggle so hard with figuring out where to even begin the process or what's entailed.
