If a man will completely lie about his background to create a persona, you know you shouldn't listen to anything he says. JD was not poor. He did not grow up in backwoods Appalachia. He had a middle class upbringing and he went to a good school and he met a woman who is also most definitely not from Appalachia that way. Nothing about his history checks out. The selection of a running mate was the most important decision Trump had to make, and he completely muffed it. This throws doubt on Trump's ability to make sound judgments.

The question around 11 minutes in is an interesting one. There's no constitutional provision that would prevent someone previously having served as president from becoming vice president. Although such a scenario would seem to violate the spirit of the Twenty-second Amendment, if the person had previously served two terms as president, the language in that amendment doesn't address the issue of deliberately manipulating the process to hold the office via the election and resignation of intermediaries. It's only concerned about being elected president. That's likely not an issue that will come up, but In the era of Trump I suppose it's not safe to discount the possibility.
