I already knew it was an abomination in the sight of God before clicking on this video, but it was a besetting sin that I struggled with for many years.

I had a real addiction to masturbation but it wasn’t sexual at all for me. It was something I did when I was overly stressed to get a dopamine rush and that feeling of well being. I never used porn or even thought sexual thoughts while doing it. It just felt like an amazing sensation. But I see the wickedness in this because it created an unhealthy view of sex for me. I started to use this practice instead of prayer and asking the Holy Spirit to comfort me. I also started to succumb to the idea that masturbation was the only way I would experience sex. I now believe in trusting God for all my needs and His love is greater than anything. And I have hope that God will send me a husband if it’s His will and at the right time in a way that glorifies Him.

Another one is Romans 1; 26. Even the women pervert the natural use of their sex by unnatural acts. (This could mean masturbation or beastiality).27; Men give up natural sexual relations with women and burn with passion for each other.

Brother Noah, What is written here in Ezekiel 33:22 reminded me of what is written down in 2 Corinthians 6:2 and the other passages here in John and Isaiah 45:7 and Psalms 27:1 Ezekiel talking about the hand of the LORD being upon him in the evening and Jesus Christ speaks about His Father's Hand here in John 10:29 and Christ's Hand as well in verse 28. God speaking in Isaiah calls Himself the LORD and David the second king He anointed to be king over Israel in Psalms 27:1 calls God his Light and Salvation. It truly is amazing when you choose to follow Christ after Christ comes and saves you all these things will make sense to you.

Most of these points you brought up I found to prove things like eating junk food and playing video games to be sinful as well. I tried going back to eating certain foods and playing video games in moderation (My idea is that if I returned to them not addicted it would be okay) but I realized that even in the time I dedicated to God all I could think about is what I was going to do in that game or what I was going to eat. ALL of the hours of the day need to be dedicated to God and anything that takes our mind off of God needs to be repented of. Amen.

Surprisingly the bible never uses the word masturbation. It's not that they didn't know what it was or how to call it.

It's not mentioned in any commandments, although it just seems the new testament encourages not to masturbate.

Galatians 5:16

"But I say, Keep walking by spirit and you will carry out no fleshly desire at all"


If in case of masturbation, would the principle of bathing seems to be relevant?

If a man has an emission of semen, he should bathe his whole body in water and be unclean until the evening.  He must wash with water any garment and any skin with semen on it, and it will be unclean until the evening.
