Lloyd the master of wind being the black and green ninja

Kai the master of water since kai s name means ocean

Zane the master of lightning

Cole the master of metal it's an element similar to earth

Nya the master of fire
Since nya wore red for alot of seasons

Jay the master of speed
I wanted to go with ice but speed works alot better for Jay

look deeper into the story then you realize aang and lloyd are really different but would make best friends. atla and ninjago are really similar in some ways too, like aang and lloyd not wanting to be the main character. And katara and nya are both confident woman that mastered ice, and they would get along well
