I was a strong believer and follower of Kim’s ministry from 2000, through his death in 2016 to about a year ago when I met John MacArthur and started learning truth. Kim and his team had sparked an energetic excitement within me for the kingdom of God and the study of the Old Testament, which was his bread and butter. However I found myself trying to “get” a prophetic “word” for someone rather than giving them the word of God from the Bible which can save their souls. I thank God for showing me how wrong my theology was!

The first time I ever heard about Kim was that compilation video about his "prophesying" Trump becoming president came out. After watching it once, I was kind of impressed (though not convinced). Then I watched it again and took notes. He never actually said Trump would be president. He said Trump would become a Trumpet for the Lord, which is not the same thing, and he also had made the same claim about Eminem and Bill Gates. He said that the Gatekeeper of New York would win, but that was in 2008, and that title applied more to Giuliani who hadn't ruined his political career yet but could have applied to anyone including Pataki or any other governor of New York state. And two different videos gave wildly-differing descriptions of an unnamed future president - not a praying man going in vs. a religious man, one not given over to outbursts vs. hot-blooded, etc.

According to Kim Clement's prophecies, God has an American focus and concerned with the wealth of the nation. Even the way he delivers his prophecies, he's like the great and powerful Oz. He turned me off immediately when I first saw him years ago. So many people seem to follow him and think he's so amazing. Very often his prophecies go against scripture. God would never speak like that.

Prophets in the Bible came to warn God’s people about coming judgement and call people to repentance as far as I’m aware.
This guy does not preach repentance.
