Im getting my first gaming laptop soon. I was thinking of starting with a lenovo ideapad y510p, but with me being so inexperienced, I saw this and was like, "I love the look". Im glad I read the comments before deciding on alienware

that is the thickest computer I have ever seen. Why would you spend 2, 000 dollars on a thick laptop with outdated specs? You should get a slim Razer Blade with better specs. Alienware is for lazy people who are to lazy to learn how to build a pc. Alienware is owned by Dell by the way... Alienware fanboys are saying "Lenovo Sucks! Dell Sucks! Acer Sucks!" So they are basically saying Alienware sucks also. Lenovo Y50 is also a good choice. 4k on a laptop!

this laptop is meant for rich people look at the prices on these alienware laptops and desktops i can make the same thing in desktop version and faster and i would only charge $400-$500 for it and its better than that laptop

Personally I still like the 2nd generation M17x back in 2010. Seems like it was a little more rugged then the models they have out now. Plus I like the way it looks compare to what is out now.

Do you think those light effect on the laptop will last forever or will them be broken in the future just like how light-bulb work and you need to change it? but i don't think you can replace any in the laptop.

I've purchased an Alienware M17x and an Alienware Desktop about 2 years ago and afterwards I think its like an expensive car. You don't really need one, it is just a expenisve piece of tech that is nice to have.

It's actually a pretty nice laptop. I've had one for about one year and I have had absolutely no problems with it.

I think Alienware displays are really good, as well as the fact that they can play ANY game you throw at them with the settings maxed out. That being said, every time I go into a computer store asking about an Alienware, the sales associates tell me to avoid them at all costs because of their reliability issues and poor customer service.I bought an MSI instead and it's been fantastic so far.
