People don't understand all the rules right away. On the street it's second nature to look as much as possible. it's up to the track to tell them what to do and what not to do

Never been to the track but I have been go karting. Someone faster will always pass you and your suppose to encourage them passing you, the slow one. Looking back and attempting to block will warrant the track designators to slow you down. At a unmoderated track, I assume the penalty is worse than slowing you down but instead disqualification or verbal warnings before being banned from future track days

Do tracks have days designated for new or inexperienced riders...or single rider laps? I don't want to be that guy, but I know I'll be that guy 😂

I made this mistake on my first practice session because i was on a production 350yamaha in a mixed session containing 750 four yamaha racers. when i entered the corner quicker than them i worried that they'd T bone me.When i looked ahead i was running out of road as the curve tightened..
I came off in the grass @90mph ( no kitty litter in the 70s) and stopped just before the railway sleepers lining the banking. 😮I retired from racing that day. All shit and no notion 😂
