Pasay City's Bay City, a former reclamation area, has undergone a remarkable transformation in recent years. The most prominent development is the nearing completion of the Bureau of Immigration's (BI) new main office along Macapagal Boulevard.
This state-of-the-art facility signifies the government's commitment to enhancing public service.
Constructed in 2018, the BI complex comprises a towering 7-story main building and a spacious 5-story annex building connected by a central atrium. Upon its completion later this year, the BI will officially relocate from its current location in Intramuros, Manila, to this modern facility in Pasay City.
Bay City's transformation extends beyond the BI. Several other government agencies have also established their new offices in the area, including the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Commission on Elections (Comelec). This influx of government institutions further solidifies Bay City's position as a vital center for government operations.
