Tentacle Sync Track E | High quality audio, high quality timecode

I'd rate my expertise with audio at a Neanderthal level but once I seen the track E and Sync E I knew I had to have it. I bought a Sync E set(two) and a Track E(one recorder) and out of the box I ran 2 cameras and recorded audio. I then dragged it all into the app and in a second I had my mutlicam clips synced and ready to edit. Was like discovering fire and I bought another set of Sync E's and 1 more Track E. If an audio idiot like me can run 4 cameras and recorded 2 audio sources and then sync everything up and edit anyone can. I still sometimes forget to have all the devices on the same frame rate or a camera frame rate gets missed but that goes back to my Neanderthal DNA showing through. These things are awesome.

I have 4 of these Track E recorders and 1 Zoom F2 (non BT) and I must say that in an event environment I much prefer the Track E (Why I brought another 3 !) The record/hold button on the Zoom doesn't inspire confidence (it works fine, but under pressure it feels fiddly, and it failed on us, or we failed it !)
The Tentacle app is amazing, I can quickly set all 4 recorders going with a couple of taps and see the wave forms and now with the beta software as Julien mentioned I can listen and make sure I'm getting clean audio (although these is a slight delay). I would say the opposite to Carl, I feel the build of the Track is far better than my F2, at least. Both provide great sound but I prefer the Track E's ability to add gain to recording.

Now if only you could monitor the Track E while recording your talent, in order to quickly notice any issues with rustling clothing or even a broken cable...

If you forget to charge and have to connect to a portable bank to charge can you put all of that in your pocket and keep going- does it work while charging?

Is it possible to use the Track E to jam timecode into a camera which has timecode generator (like a BMPCC or even an Arri?). Thanks! :)

any chance of doing something on synching in resolve which tou seem to hop through too fast! Include cutaways with no audio and audio with no picture :)

I have the Tentacle TRACK E & am very disappointed by the audio. I own the Olympus LS-P4 & the audio is no different from 24bit to 32bit & the microphone that comes with the track E is terrible compared to rode

The audio from Olympus LS-P4 is far better
