I doubt that digital photography will ever bring the same level of excitement of looking at your properly developed roll of film! 😊❤

I definitely enjoyed your excitement on the reveal! Definitely keep that in! At first, I was disappointed that you didn't show the photos as-scanned after you shot them as you often do, but I like this approach better as it allows us to experience that same anticipation that you feel, which is why I think most of us enjoy the process of shooting film.

I love the 80's vibe of your videos. It was the best decade, bar none.

Azriel thanks for 17 days in a Covid 19 period it remains unique and original on film and a cmos sensor of your smartphone. Artistically fun and almost always beautiful photos as a result.

Thank you for your video! Got a few Ilford fp4 from 1979 and 1980. ISO is 160. Can't wait to shoot it!

The smile at the end said it all! Love your work mate, you're doing in 2021 what I did back in the 80's, bit of a nostalgia blast for me!

I stumbled on your channel yesterday while researching for a project and now I'm going through all your videos. Just started this series. What a treasure trove! Thanks for making and sharing.

I'm watching these a bit out of order. Great, very cool series idea! I used to shoot a lot of black & white, and slide film I processed my self and truly loved it. watching your process brings back those memories. But, alas...I sold my sole to digital, and cashed out my darkroom gear, and donated my enlargers to a local college....gosh, 10 years ago now. I do kind of miss those days, but I can live vicariously through what you are doing. Gorgeous pics from really old Ilford film. Very exciting!!!!

That is a strong W. Earl Brown look. Also the graphics for this are amazing. I'd love to see some Berger Pancro in 120, or maybe some Provia 100f (although developing E6 during all of this might be an admitted pain in an already hectic schedule). Can't wait!

I was wondering why this place looked so familiar to me, then it dawned on me that I must have been there, or near there, two years ago when I visited Calgary. Awesome video once again..

Great preview for the project. Hoping you are able to get all the funding you need from the Kickstarter.

Nice shots, Azriel! Glad the film behaved for you. Remember to share this with the guys over at Ilford. I'm sure they'd love to see it!

Surely you've got to shoot a roll of modern HP5+ to show the differences. My favourite film has been FP4 for some time, especially with a yellow filter! Makes it sing!

I had that EXACT SAME PROBLEM with the TAPE going dry and breaking and messing up a roll ! What I do now is to unroll the backing paper, holding it tightly slowly until I see the TAPE stuck down then add a NEW bit of tape over and re-roll the backing paper up again and it only fogs about half an inch .

Nice results! Shot a roll of 135 HP5 from the same year in 2018 and it turned out equally good. I would love to see episodes with APS, 110 and possibly disc film.
