no no to 9-pt type in a full size Bible! Some of our eyes need larger print.
Schuyler's paper is thin, but it's never been a problem for me. It's opaque (for Bible paper) and turns easily.
I enjoy your reviews. This calfskin looks beautiful and those ribbons.

11 point font is readable. I prefer no less than 10.5 for my reading comfort. Beautiful Bible..

CSB in Quentel.
The Canterbury from Schuyler. ..in KJV.
And PSQ in NASB and NKJV.

Great review! I just received my personal size nkjv in marbled mahogany and it’s darker than I hoped with not much “marbling” but it’s still a gorgeous dark brown leather. The quality of the bible is the best I’ve ever had.

For size AND readability I like the NRSV from Zondervan Premier in purple goatskin and small yapp.

I love the calfskin I have this in the NJV. I like the 28 gsm however I would love on in verse by verse with the verse numbers highlighted in red....that would be my dream bible lol God bless you brother!

Good review! I agree about the paper. I have a Canterbury in 36 gsm and an NKJV Quentel in 28. I much prefer the 36. The ghosting isn’t bad in the 28, but you know what? It’s really not all that great either, and for this reason, it’s not my primary. No one really talks about the ghosting in the slimmer Schuylers, but it’s there.

Question: If you happen to have them both out at once some time... is the NKJV Quentel print as bold as the CSB? I have the CSB and it is far bolder than my older 36gsm Quentels and darker than the older NASB 28gsm (known as the Thintel). I LOVE the bold print on this CSB. Thank you!

I think that Quentel is nicest bible I have owned. Just special. I have a blue and green so may go for another. Colour. Does it come in RED ? I suddenly like colours inside and out.

I just got the slate goat csb. I wish the cover was thicker but I love the texture of it. The paper is..meh. Over all it really is nice tho.

Nelson has 36 GSM .
If Quentel went to 36 GSM and thicker I wouldn't mind since I am retired and rarely leave the house.
