Truthfully, I love my 1 + 12 but, I decided to trade it in for the 13. Normally, I wouldn't upgrade this soon. However, I feel that many of the design changes would greatly benefit me. As a legally blind low vision user, I rely on TalkBack via the Android accessibility suite to navigate my device. Therefore, I have to swipe and gesture quite a bit and I felt the curves on the sides of the 12 made the task more difficult. Specifically, there were times that I had to perform the same swipe 3 or 4 times before it took. I never experienced that with the flat screen on my Oneplus 8T. Anyway, I received my 13 on Friday and the problem is now solved. In short, I love this phone.

IP69 means most importantly: it will hold IP68 for a whole longer.. devices lose this attribute with time (rubber will be hard etc)

Nice idea to standardize the tests, but I would have liked if the cellular connectivity was tested as well. I still use my phone to send and receive calls!

I just got mine Friday and I'm coming from the 12r my op history 6t 7 pro 8t 10t 12r and I loved the 12r just didn't like the curved screen so I decided to get this beast and I'm gonna be honest after using pixel 9pro xl since September this phone is like a breath of fresh air.everything is so user friendly on it and it's actually thinner then the pixel and the camera is unbelievable battery insane this phone is best phone out now

This was the best review on the OP13 I watched so far. I got mine a few days ago and am really impressed by it, although coming from Samsung I really miss some customisation options, like Good Lock. Apart from that, everything else is pretty great.

every single phone iv owned for the last 12 years has been budget cheapass 350$ ish phones. They usually last about 3 to 4 years. This year was the first year I made the leap to a flagship tier phone. I never could wrap my head around why anyone would pay over 1000$ for a blooody damn phone...but this year I finally had the excess cash and really wanted to have a good camera for when i go traveling. After much video watching/research i made the leap and ordered this phone. Needless to say i've had about 20hrs of screen time on this phone so phone learning how to use everything and I've barely scratched the surface. Great experience so far though. I'll need to take a few hundred more photos before I get a hang of how to use the proper settings under different scenarios. Also a note: I turned off 1440p display cause I notice no difference in a blind test and it drains more power, also turned off the ultrasonic finger print unlock scanner since it can randomly turn on at times if you touch with your palm and certain other surfaces, it can drain your battery depending how you store/carry your phone around.
