Loyal Dog Stays With Little Boy Who Was Lost in Cornfield For Hours

A toddler was lost in a cornfield last week in Minnesota and his faithful dog was by his side the whole time. A heat-seeking video shows the image of 2-year-old Mason and his English Springer Spaniel, Bella Grace, and her 12-week-old puppy, Madeline, lost in the Richmond cornfield. Bella Grace was seen wagging her tail as the cameras picked up on their trail. Mason was playing outside his home with cousins when he wandered off straight into a cornfield and the dog followed the curious boy. #InsideEdition

Apparently, when I was 2, I had a tendency to wander off, a lot! But our Saint Bernard always went with me. The cops always found me and Bertha (full name: Big Bad Bummer Bottomside Bertha) but she would never let them near me. She was the best dog for me and my brother to grow up with. Miss you and love you so much, Bertha!

they rounded up 200 people and a helicopter in that short of a time? how could a child get out of shouting distance from the mother before she realizes he is gone? how long before the mother realized the child was "missing?"
