Let's Completely Overhaul This Samsung Dryer

My 12 year old dryer died last week. Let's extend its life another decade and give it brand new components!

This specific dryer model is a Samsung dv220aew/xaa.
However, all Samsung front loaders I've seen are built the same way.

since you removed the front, you could have replaced the door latch/switch since they are prone to failure
