Bob Barker needed a better place to hide his favorite toys. So we decided to make a hidden drawer in my nightstand. We decided on a drawer within a drawer design, and used a RFID lock that can be either plugged in or supported with battery power. We removed the middle drawer and retrofitted the nightstand with our new drawer containing his concealed drawer. Now he doesn't need to worry about stray dogs stealing his stuff when he is busy with me in the workshop.

Side note, I think some drawer face installation clamps would've made the installation of the drawer face much easier.

Interesting video. I use painters tape to make templates all the time. May take 100 small pieces, but it works.

Maybe next time try running 4 screws so they slightly protrude through the front of the drawer box. Next, position your drawer front and hit it with your hand. You will then have 4 perfectly positioned marks on the back of your drawer front to drill your pilot holes.

A secret drawer to my side of the nightstand would definitely make a good addition 😁
On another note 5 day's of Fwy closer on the 210 bet that's making it miserable 😖 on your commutes let alone the backlog of traffic.
