bayouk5, how low is the propshaft compared to the bottom of the boat? Do you run a regular impeller? Did you do anything else to improve cooling besides the bigger pisser?

Some of the intake flow ports were opened up for better water and mud flow. Some were closed up so wouldn't suck air.

Should move it pretty good. I used to have a 40 tohatsu before this motor. Tough motor. I'm about to put this whole rig for sale. Time to get a new one to play with.

YEE I love this shit. I run my 50hp merc through flooded cutdowns plowing over small tree tops and guys freak out saying im destroying my prop and motor. Been going to the same spots for 6 years now only had 1 hub replaced in the stainless prop other than that all good

I have an old 50 hp Mariner 4 cylinder two stoke with a tiller that I recently bought off a guy. This motor has been sitting in a barn most its life. It runs great! i cant wait to see what it will do! Nice video! With a tunnel hull you can run a lot where them surface drives go....
