Took a couple minutes while we were down in Crystal River, FL visiting with Captain Justin from Florida Bowfishing Adventures to explain our motor. Check it out and let us know if you have any questions!

I love the ideal. It's pretty cool definitely with the heat exchangers.

How does it handle cooling the exhaust output the way a normal outboard does the prevent overheating the enclosure of the engine?

Im trying to watch a few clips. What makes them different? Is it a new design or something? Or just a new brand name available?

Tohatstsu 2 stroke= perfection and I’m saying that as an engineer/mechanic that modified everything! But otherwise This isolated cooling system would be great up here on the west coast mud

I'm just Curious on how it would perform on like a G3 with a6 inch tunnel and a tall jack plate with the skeg above the bottom of the boat. Would that prop still grab water coming out of the tunnel and would those fins help keep it cool when they're not exposed to water with just air passing thru them???

Definitely interested in a new duck boat 15’ but hate the 25 motor limits on some AR WMAs weird to me coming from North Dakota to hunt late season with the southern boys

Interesting stuff, Crystal River is definitely as shallow as it gets, especially in the winter!

How would this work for late season duck hunting? Like winter

Very cool idea but I would be concerned about tearing one of those cooling fins on some debris without realizing it, dumping your coolant, and cooking the motor.

On my order, can you weld on cooling fins on that coolant can. Hawaii here you come! 💯

Biggest problem I see with salt water is the salt in the air that is taken in the cylinder. I actually prefer the simplicity of the standard cooling and the flush cycle, keeps things simple. If invasive species is the concern, I would have simply made a filter that is simple to clean. Because life doesn't need to run through the pump to be hauled around.

I'll take my 15 dollar ear muffs and 5 minutes to flush any day.

Makes more sense on a very large outboard motor as the engine is so valuable so anything to improve the longevity and durability of that would be greatly appreciated I'm sure by boat owners. Like the shark fin on the cowling. Is that more than just a design motif?

Pretty cool. I’m more interested in the 25hp and even smaller

I'm old school and have no experience with Tohatsus. They could be amazing or they could be the Kia of boat motors, I have no clue. My question is do you guys have plans to create stand alone kits that can be installed on other brands of outboards? And being a dealer would the factory allow you the freedom to do this type of innovating or would you be violating some type of non compete commitment?

Interesting concept, I wonder how long you can run this without over heating?

That’s on a duck boat. Can this engine handle flooded timber. That’s a flooded timber boat by design

all it takes is a stump or something to rip one of those fins off and lose all your coolant just to be stranded.

Man I would love this in the kelp. Put some sharp edges on those cooling fins and you're chopping salad. Too bad you can't move those fins to the bottom of the hull somewhere. Lower units love dolphins, turtles, sun fish, and whales.
