There is a lot of confusion in the comment section regarding salary. Let me put it clear. Like CA articleship, one has to complete three years of training in ACCA to become a member. As a member your starting salary is obviously around 10LPA. If someone told you that it is not true, then probably they are working in mid size audit firm, or they didn't try better and settled for a lesser salary. MNC companies do pay well.

No. The statement regarding salary is not true. Yes, if you manage to get a job in abroad (which is feasible) then you can expect a higher salary.
