"Man of Constant Sorrow" was most recently made famous by the film "O, Brother Where Art Thou?" as performed by The Soggy Bottom Boys, but it's been around for well over a century. The song has been covered by Bob Dylan, The Stanley Brothers, Joan Baez (who is still touring BTW) and Home Free. As great as the song is, I always felt like it needed a bridge, so I wrote one. I fully expect some haterade in the comments section for that, but I love you all anyway.
"Take me to the water
let me wash my sin away
I’ve been traveling down this road
And how my soul has gone astray
I can feel it like a bullet
No matter where I tread
All my days I have been runnin’
From these ghosts within my head"
