Comparing these two movements is like comparing seated leg press and hack squats. They looks the same, and work the same muscle groups - one is significantly easier to move more weight on tho cause(drum roll please) leverage.

Dumbbell bench you have to engage a lot of stabilizer muscles, its a lot harder than a flat bench but makes you all around stronger

Note to every ego lifter there is always someone bigger, smaller, stronger. Weaker, faster, slower, strong days, weak days ... enough rest, food, sleep rest days, how you feel that day, the competition factor .. Just shut the fuck up and train your own body ! Sam's smashing incline dumbbells for reps, other dude is on a flat bench. Both big lifts, but definitely not "same-same". Keep grinding Sam, you da man.
