That was a solid Self-Pitch 🥂. I can actually picture listening to my phone read the description for a book like that on Good Reads. I love that you strive to combine the two passions, that's awsome. When an author can work their other passion into their work it always lends a sense of heart and authenticity.

Yay, Lord Of The Rings. Anyone who loves Middle Earth gets extra points from me.

Writing too much is definitely a problem for me too but I like editing it down as well so it seems like we're on the same page with that. Sometimes I just let my fingers go wild and a few hundred words later I'm like "it took way too long to get to that point". It doesn't happen so much with my dark fantasy but I've been working on a comedy sci-fi project recently and that's been a nightmare for rambling prose that I need to tidy up 🤣.

I'm quite a visual writer too which is ironic for a blind author. I just tend to have some sort of image in my mind when I start a scene and as I'm writing it my imagination is like a movie, although now that I've been totally blind for six years the movie's a lot more "animated" than it used to be.

Damn, that's a punchy pitch for the book and I like it. Just based off that I would more than likely add it to my Want To Read list.

Fellow plantser 🤸‍♂️. Other than the detailed lists you more or less described my entire process.

I always think I'm going to write something in the real world and then when I start the story it ends up turning into something else. That exact thing happened with my WIP "Average Steve's Big Day Off" which became a sci-fi comedy out of nowhere lol.

I think my first Authortuber was the same person (no idea how to spell her name). When I first started writing I was just looking around to try and find interesting people to soak in all their advice. My partner gets bombarded by my writing thoughts and what if's too which is why I have Authortube so I can talk to other writers and not pester her as much 😼.

You have such a warm, friendly vibe and we seem to be kindred spirits in certain aspects of our writing so you get my sub for sure. I watch a lot of these Authortube Newbie tags but I actually genuinely enjoyed myself with this one so I'm looking forward to familiarising myself with your content. Hope you're having a lovely day my friend and good luck with all your projects.
