In my experience, the Tomcat flat glue traps work the fastest, not the open flat trays. They walk around anything above floor level. Place a small, sweet piece of fruit in the middle of the glue trap so they have to walk over the glue to get to it. They will quickly stick to the glue. You will hear them making sqealing sounds when they're stuck. Remove and dispose...or pour vegetable oil over them to release them from the glue. 😁

Okay, this trap honestly confused me.
I was thinking i had to open it but theres no way to open it.
Didn't think it was a one way stop n go shop.
But i actually did touch the bait with my bare hands but i did wash my hands afterward. Is toxic to touch? Because im still kickin around and the labeling makes it seem like youd die or be very sick from just touching it.

this venom surprisingly doesn’t work for the rat in my house. The rat is just getting free venom meals but does not die from the venom it just comes back to eat more which is honestly surprising.

It took a while to open the bottom of the bait station--a bit frustrating! I do understand that safety is VERY important and that must be why opening is difficult. I would imagine opening the bottom of the bait station for subsequent refills, if necessary, would be easier but probably still child/pet (and some parent) proof. I hope it works--these mice are driving me insane!

I can't figure out how it works and I actually think mine may be defective or a reject. There's no hole or space for the mice to get to the bait once they enter the opening. 🤷

The problem I have is the mice's are in my ceiling which is the basement ceiling and the last thing I need is these mice's eating the poison, walking away and dying somewhere where I can't reach to dispose of it straight to the trash.

Many years ago when I was a teen we had a mouse problem in one of our rooms. I bought some mouse poison seeds and placed them around the couches and bookcases It worked great. The mouse died. But that created another problem - the smell. He crawled off into some crevice, or up into the couches, and his body smelled for weeks. Bottom line - not a good solution. Now, other than a fancy plastic box and a different poison, how is this thing any different?

So this trap doesn't cage them in it? What's the point of the trap if once they eat the poison they can exit and die anywhere? Why not just spread the poison without the cage which is pointless.

Just wondering, do you have to open the bait box and empty it into the trap or do you just leave the trap as it is and put it in the right spot? It doesn’t tell you what to do on the packaging that doesn’t so hopefully someone can let me know… Thank you so much.
