Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, my loves. This project wouldn't let me rest since I watched this show, so I had to make an edit about these two. German Netflix is getting better and better each year in my opinion, and I have found a new hyperfixation haha.

As someone who has never really watched the Sissi movies and hasn't seen the RTL Sisi Series either, I went into this show with a blank slate and enjoyed this show immensely. Obviously there are huge spoilers in this edit for the entirety of season 1, so maybe watch this video after the show if you don't want to know everything.

Also, I've never edited a video to this song before... it's a crime. I feel like everyone else has already done it, lol. So I made this extra long. You're welcome.

It's so crazy to see how many people from other countries love the show too... I grew up in Germany with the Sissi Triology with Romy Schneider and this Netflix version is a big gift for all of us because it makes this story big again . I'm happy that so many non-Germans and Austrians are fascinated by this story. ☺️

Sisi was one of the most beautiful women of her time. Franz fell in love with her at first sight and refused to marry anyone else.
After her death, he never stopped mourning her. He loved her more than anything till the day he died.

In real life, it was Franz Joseph who was mad of Sissi, Sissi loved him also, but in a different manner, one year after their marriage, Sissi wore a beautiful white dress, she was in a boat, Franz was so delighted to see her that he jumped on the boat while he was at two meters from the deck. To kiss Elizabeth passionately.

the best version of sissi and franz in my opinion. they are beautiful and tragically messy but their scenes make sense and it is so obvious the feeling and the love is there. they share a path. they tried to trick us with max because technically he is the one more similar to her but that is precisely why she does not love him. it was clear in the finale that she loves franz. deep down they share the same ideals and their first connection was genuine and the spark was natural. they are far from perfect, but the show made it clear that they are the couple that can face the storm, be almost destroyed by it, and come out of it together.

their first kiss scene and wedding night are the most romantic things i’ve seen these last years🔥 when he said “you reminded me of what i was like before becoming an emperor… alive” ALIVE omg🤧 finally he let himself be happy and forget about his duties, this cruel life of emperor, he’s just a boy who wants to develop by building railways not sending young boys to die on war. he’s kindhearted, but unfortunately manipulated by his mother and that’s the main reason of the marriage problems between Elizabeth and Franz💔 also his brother… i like the actor but his character! i don’t get why so many people like him and wants Elizabeth to be with him?🤯

Dieser Sisi Film/Serie ist die 1. Verfilmung die wirklich -echt- rüber kommt. Als gäbe es keine Kamera und die Emotionen sind so echt von den Schauspielern dargestellt, da ist so viel Echtheit drin, dass es mich total mitgezogen hat. Nie habe ich so einen guten Film/Serie gesehen wie diesen! So voller Gefühle. Echtheit. Wie im echten Leben. ❤
