As a Japanese person, I say this. The Japanese women in the video have only seen High School Musical and Friends. They don't even understand the meaning of the Mexican border wall. Also, most of the people in this video somehow think that all immigrants speak English. This video was really embarrassing for me as a Japanese person. They are living in a dream world.

I want Japan to still feel like Japan, and unless the people they bring in actually respect the law, culture, and customs, mass immigration will ruin Japan. Canada is fucked for example, and it's only going to get worse.

I know you were being sarcastic in the beginning. Because it absolutely is NOT a success in the West.
It's literally the downfall of the West. I hope this doesn't happen to Japan.

Well Japanese people should be concerned if immigrants are black, especially because it would increase the level of insecurity, but if they are from countries like Spain or Dubai they would not have to worry.

I like the sarcasm at the beginning of this video.

I'm one of them, but I say, "Keep the number low, manage it well, and monitor them well also". Japan doesn't need 3 Family Marts, a Lawson, a 7-11, and a SunKus within eye shot of each other.
A lot of naivete in this video. Japanese people, generally, do not know what awaits them if they are not very selective.

The problem with immigration isn't immigration itself. It's the individuals that don't assimilate. They don't learn the culture, or accept it into their life. Instead, they bring the culture of the country they left, and force it into the new country. In some ways that can be beneficial, because there are good parts to every culture. But in other ways it is detrimental, because of course there are also bad parts to every culture. When there are so many cultures mixing together, they begin to clash. Like adding too many spices to a recipe. Several people voice similar concerns in this video, that many times foreigners do not respect the aspects of the culture when they move to a new country. That's the part that causes issues.

Personally, I could not imagine moving to a new country without first learning about and trying to blend into the culture of the country I move to. I would try to learn the language, and the customs, and the values of that culture. That just seems like the right thing to do. But not everyone abides by that rule...and so issues arise.

The UK is on fire right now and the US is on pace to join that.

Defend your borders and culture. Every country has the right to protect its identity.

The clear answer is "No!". Japan should learn from the experience of so many other countries.

If Japan wants to become a low trust society, the best way is to increase diversity in the country.

Please Japan. Don't do it! Stay Japanese. Don't bow to the pressure of the UN or WEF.

Absolutely not! Look what’s happening in Europe and USA. Please preserve your beautiful culture!

Do you think London and major US cities, overrun by (often illegal) immigration by largely uneducated and unskilled people from the developing world, is better than it was 20 years ago?

This comment section... jeez. If you go to another country try to integrate, respect their way of doing things and their laws. It's not hard.

I am an American working and living in Japan and I do not want more immigrants. I am a guest in Japan and I never expect to be given residency or citizenship. Tokyo 15 years ago is so different from Tokyo of today. I noticed Tokyo Police now carry guns which they did not 15 years ago. I see shop lifting more now than 15 years ago. Someone tried to steal my bag when I went to the toilet in the park! Public safety have gone down. Don't make the same mistake as the US and Europe.

I think they don't want to be rude to this Gaijin so their answers are positive

I love the Japanese precisely because they are Japanese. Don't make the mistake Europe and America have made in recent years.
