The real issue with GPU sag is the motherboard facing tabs that are supposed to go into slots in the tower case. Long term solution is buying a better designed tower case that supports those mounting tabs better. My thermal take p3 for example shows no signs of sag because of the tab support.

Jayztwocents has an in-depth video on it.

I bought a Lian-Li GB-001 for 12 bucks, very nice solution.

The M.2 NVMe adapter card has to be connected to an electrically connected x4 slot that is from the CPU, not the chipset to equal the performance of an onboard M.2 NVMe connector.

Correction: An m.2 PCIE slot adapter in the GPU slot will be faster on the Asus X99M as the board only has a 2x PCIE 2.0 link for the m.2 slot (one quarter the speed of a typical m.2 slot).

I did 3d print my bracket. I refuse to spend 50 bucks for that.

for GPU sag, I used a black pencil, cut to the right height.

If price was not an issue which would better in the long run, a regular GPU (Fans) or one with its own AIO?
And which would be more reliable and stable over time? (lets say 2-4 years)

How do you choose the watercooling fittings you need for your loop? There is just so many different types and it's hard to know what type of fittings that I'll need.

Hey Paul, I was wondering if you had an opinion on what is more cost effective for 4k gaming? Xbox One X with a 4k TV or a 4k capable PC with 4k Screen? I hope this makes sense because I am completely new to all of this.

Hey Paul,

I have an I7 4770K Running 4.0 OC/ Enermax ETS-T40/ 16GB EVGA SSC 2400 DDR3/ ASUS Z87 Pro/ EVGA GTX1060 3GB.. My question is how much longer should I wait before upgrading to an I5 8600K & G.SKill Ripjaws 16GB 3200 2X8? I thought maybe back to school time or possibility later like Christmas?

hi Paul. is a 6900k a good replacement processor for streaming and video rendering? I'm a twitch streamer with a 5820k that runs at 3.99GHz. recently I started editing down my footage with premier pro to put it up on YouTube. it takes so long to render the footage. considering the videos that normally go out are 2 and a half hours to 5 hours long it takes a while to run, anywhere from an hour and a half to 3 hours to finish. would the improvement be worth an extra $1000? would the 6900k be better at all for my situation or would I be wasting my money upgrading my system? do you have any other suggestions for a different cup to upgrade to without changing my x99 motherboard?
