Patience, precision and perfection! This guy really inspires me. Too many tradesmen rushing from start to finish, when actually as this video shows you, spending time on the setup can save a lot of time in the middle and end of a job... also making a job look excellent.

Imagine being his apprentice it’s my dream at 18 so hard to find now, nice job though
Edit 9 months later - still had no luck finding an apprenticeship but now have my own van and 75% of my tools needed. I’m learning a lot on the job and also through YouTube. It’s my goal to be a professional. Still a shame I couldn’t find a apprenticeship. Thanks

A joy to watch. The explanations and reasoning for every detail are priceless. Careful planning and consideration and preparation are so often underrated because ""you're not cutting or nailing anything", to the point that I feel compelled to explain beforehand: all the time spent planning and scheming, benefits progress down the line as well as the final result.

I have to say - your building skills a re absolutely superb. During lockdown I have been getting more and more into carpentry and your video's are fantastic. If ever there was a way to do things right, well this is where it's at. Well done and if I was 30 years younger i'd be looking for an apprenticeship with you.

I just felt the need to say to you how right you are to take notice of the tinnitus, have had it for quite a few years now, it gets worse if you stressed i don, t know why but for me it's very obvious, and trying to get a good night sleep is quite a battle I sleep the radio on all night and for me, that helps, My problems started after 4 years in a factory making uPVC windows, the router for the locks screams at you and even though I wore earplugs and a headset, it just suddenly creeps up on you, Yes I am 72 now, but thank you for pointing this out to try and prevent some other guys getting it, When i walk about even today and see the number of builders not wearing protection, i sometimes go up and mention it, .

He seems to work much slower and careful, yet gets the job done so fast. Amazing.

Great tips from Robin as usual, only discovered this channel recently but I'm already hooked! Im a chippy from the south of England, living in Melbourne Australia for the past 8 years now and its great to be reminded how it should be done, properly!
Will recommend you guys to all the rough arse Aussies I work with!

I like the slow pace of delivery and hurrah no music to drown the words. I did not need subtitles to find what he was saying.. Thanks 👌🥂

Looking great, I wish all tradesmen were as knowledgeable and as thorough as you are about your job. You should be very proud of the jobs you complete. I’m a retired printer and I have seen more chancer’s than people you could actually leave a job with knowing that it will be well up to standard. I thoroughly enjoy watching your videos. 👍👍

I’ve got tinnitus, constant ringing in the background. As soon as the background is quiet, there it is and it’s progressing so getting worse. Wear ear protection, it’s so easy to do and will save you a whole load of ball ache in the future.
