Wampler Tumnus Transparent Overdrive Pedal

preview_player
Показать описание
The Wampler Tumnus is based on the tone of the iconic Klon transparent overdrive pedal. The Wampler Tumnus approximates those tones perfectly with two main differences - The Tumnus has more low end and the pedal enclosure is a whole lot smaller which makes it perfect for fitting on your pedalboard

I'm not sure how I made it through the last fifty years without this pedal. I'm not remotely kidding. I love it that much.

I'm totally biased because I own a Tumnus and love it but I think that was my favorite tone I've ever heard on your channel.

I don't think I've ever seen him that excited about a pedal before. I have to admit it sounds good.

That gutteral, is all we need to know. Anything that lets the animal loose is definitely doing the job.

I have a feeling it's not enough growl or grit for you but I really like it.

Great video Shane, fantastic playing. Can I ask would you go for this tumnus pedal or the Royal Flush / straight flush pedal.

What would you stack this pedal with? I have a bassbreaker 15. Great video BTW.

Hi Shane, I totally agree .. very nice pedal and it's now on my board as well! We seem to share the same tastes in tone and with a few adjustments the Tumnus can cover a lot of ground without getting fizzy! I've played 2 shows to work out it's placement (found if stacking, run the Tumnus first) and I love it. Thanks for giving me the nudge to give it a try! Oh, give my regards to the he needs to come stateside & pick up a few new Telecasters ... LOL! John / SoulShine Blues Band - Calif.

Been looking into “K” drives recently and I’ve learned about this pedal while researching. I’m currently planning my rig and would need a main drive and a stage 2 drive to boost for solos. What do you think is a good pedal to stack this with? I’m a minimalist when it comes to pedals, so 1-2 drives is enough for me. Would this be okay with a BD-2w? My plan is DD500, “K” pedal and then Blues Driver. can you suggest a pedal that would be better in that setup? I play blues mainly and some alternative rock.

Thank you for the killer demo Shane... What overdrive would you recommend stacking this pedal with?

I love my Tumnus. It just rocks with any guitar I've ever used with it, but it loves my Telecaster with Bill Lawrence Twin Blades - they're a lot like the Barden pups in the video. Also does awesome things in front of Fender amps... both tweed and blackface amps benefit a lot from the girth of this pedal.
