I never thought the day I gave birth would be the day I realized how little I meant to them. While I was doubled over in excruciating pain, my MIL was more concerned about her imported tiles, and my husband couldn't look up from his phone. "Don't forget my dry cleaning on your way back!" Those were his last words as I drove myself to the hospital, having contractions every 3 minutes. They thought I'd come crawling back with their precious baby, but they had no idea what I had planned. After all, karma has a way of serving justice when you least expect it.
