See, with the Harry Potter films or the books, I could never see myself as someone like Harry or Ron, sure it was close with both of them, but it wasn't ever really either one of them in full, but the minute I saw Newt on screen, as soon as I saw him open up that brief case and show us what his true passion was, what his true purpose was, to try and help every living thing he saw, to put himself on the line for that purpose, I immediately knew, if I was ever gonna be a wizard, I wanted to be like Newt

As an Arizonan, this scene always brings me to tears. It's just so awesome when a big film represents your home, and in our case, a magical legendary beast as the Thunderbird.
Thunderstorms are rare in Arizona but when they happen, they're just as incredibly majestic as the beast that brings them. I always imagine Frank flying around up there during a thunderstorm bringing life-giving rain to the desert.

I love how Newt doesn't care about how dangerous or intimidating or weird the creatures look, he just helps them all.. and understand them and adapt to every single one of them.. What a golden heart he has.. I can identify and connect with him ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

0:23 to 1:30. the music here is beautiful and magical. The way Newt looks into the eyes of the Thunderbird, the passion and love he has for these creatures, all comes out of the music. and the way he says "to the wilds of Arizona" made this the best scene in the whole film. This is true Harry Potter right here.

I wouldn't keep a thunderbird near other animals or have any fear while standing near one ... FYI Thunderbirds are giant eagles that can destroy a giant evil monster with a single thunderbolt or renew the earth with floods
