This is such a big help! I’m not deaf, but I’ve always wanted to learn BSL because it’s beautiful and incase I met anyone who used BSL. I know one deaf girl who can sign so I’ll try and show her what I’ve learned. Thank you!! 😂❤

Yesterday, I had a patient who came in for dental checkup. She was having a bit problem with her hearing but I thiught it was because of the situation aroud being noisy. At the end of the check out she did a sign saying thank you and that woke me up. At one point I was disappointed at myself how I couldn't notice sonner. I have been meaning to learn sign language for a long long time so I could communicate and make life easy for my patients. But I have been putting off for a long time. And it woke me up yesterday. I hope I could ateast say HOW ARE YOU to her next time. 🧡 Thank you so much for your videos.

Thanks. I have selective mutism, and unmasking my autism seems to be making it affect me more. It's still worth it to improve my mental health and find healthier ways of dealing with the way my brain works so I can be my authentic self, but for now, things are getting harder before they get easier. I've been going non-verbal a lot lately and I think sign language is something everyone should know anyway. I'm hoping that as my life improves and I can be myself more, I won't lose my voice as often, but for now, sign language could really help me, and learning it helps make the world a more accessible place anyway.
