This video shows you how to install a transmission mount on your 2004-2006 Scion xB. Like many other load bearing parts on your vehicle, the transmission mount contains rubber bushings for smooth, comfortable driving. And like other parts, the rubber bushings can wear and rot over time. It’s a good idea to replace them when that happens.

This process should be similar on the following vehicles:
2004 Scion xB
2005 Scion xB
2006 Scion xB

Tools you will need:
• Block of Wood
• Liquid Thread Locker
• Wheel Chocks

I have a Totota ECHO I am trying to get back on the road. I could not find many viseos on the repair work for them. But then I learned that the 04-06 XB has basically the same platform as the ECHO. So now I am watching these to do the work. I ordered the mounts to fit my ECHO an have the front motor mount in now. Only slightly different things in the ECHO but you viseo was perfect for it. About to go replace the transmission mount now. I wall save that last rear mount for later as it looks to be the most diffficult. Thank tyou very much!!!

Great video ion how to do this mount. Same process for the mount on a Scion xA. I found that it was easier to get at the long through bolt by removing the battery and accessing it from the top.

great video. thank you. I am debating doing the mounts since im installing the engine\, but your video made it look so simple, I'll wait till the OEM ones really need replacing rather than spend the extra money now. Thanks again! Any chance you have an engine removal video? LOL

Perfect video. Thanks for the details. If I were to suggest anything it would be to show the air handler shaking w/ the car running before and after.

Does this cure the dreaded air box shaking when in D and idling for more than a few seconds? Every XB automatic I have had seemed to do this after 100k miles.
